ECUMENICAL HUNGER PROGRAM
Thanksgiving
Distribution: Sunday, November 22nd - Wednesday, November 25th
Sunday 2 - 4, Monday - Wednesday 10 - 12 and 2 - 4.
Christmas
Distribution: Friday, December 18th - Tuesday, December 22nd
10 - 12 and 2 - 4. The 22nd we will be open until 6pm.
Wishlist Items
*Holiday food items most needed: yams fresh & canned, evaporated milk, cake mix, frosting, stuffing mix, jams & jelly, gift cards to purchase meat or items for special diets, half hams, turkey, roast, roasting chickens, cranberry sauce, chicken broth, soups (including cream of chicken and mushroom), sugar, flour, spices (seasoned salt, garlic, pepper, etc...), instant mashed potatoes, juice, vanilla extract, butter, frozen pie crust.
*Teen Gifts (we can truly use help in this area, we always run low on gifts for teenagers and we don't want them left out. A lot of our teenagers, especially in the single parent homes have the responsibility of caring for their siblings and many chores). Gift suggestions are: Gift Cards to: AMC or Century movie theaters, Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart for them to purchase an item of their choice such as music CD's, DVD's, hygiene, clothing item or shoes, etc... MP3 players, Jewelry, scooters, sweatshirts, perfume, hand-held video games, Ipod Shuffle, camera's, etc... For more gift ideas, check out www.surprise.com.
