Escrip
Spread the news! We are now a registered non-profit with eScrip! Please go to www.escrip.com and register us as your non-profit. This is a great "no fuss" way to support EHP and its programs and can make a tremendous difference to our fundraising efforts. We are listed as Ecumenical Hunger Program and our group number is 500001021. Please note, as we are not a K-12 school, Safeway purchases do not apply to our account. Cash Contributions
Every $1.00 you donate for food is leveraged to purchase $10.00 worth. We are able to do this through volume discounts, food banks and discount suppliers.
For every $1.00 that you donate, 15% goes toward administrative costs and 85% toward programs. EHP is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and 100% of your donation is tax deductible. For a copy of our budget and financial breakdowns, please contact Maleah Choi via email at

In-kind Contributions
EHP is happy to accept fresh food, clothing, working appliances (10 years or newer), furniture, household items and automobiles. We ask that these items are all undamaged and in good usable condition as they are given directly to disadvantaged families for use in their home. We provide our programs with the idea that we treat our clients as we would treat ourselves.
We also have a pick-up service available (Mid-Peninsula area) for large donations. Please call our donations coordinator at 650-323-7781 with any questions or to schedule a pick-up.
In-kind contributions are also tax deductible (at IRS allowed percentages) and receipts are given at the time of the contribution.
