Volunteer Opportunities:

Due to COVID-19, we are currently not accepting volunteers
​

Food Closet:
  • Sorting, stocking, and packing food boxes
  • Produce distribution (1st Tuesday each month, 1:30 - 3 pm)
  • Serve hot meals & clean (every Wednesday 4:30 - 6:30 pm)
Community Closet:
  • Sorting and hanging clothing/pairing shoes
  • Stocking items
  • Sorting donations
  • Donation picks ups
​Gardening:
  • Weeding
  • Pruning
  • Planting
Front Desk Assistant:
  • Answering the telephone
  • Transferring calls and taking messages
  • Putting clients on list for food, clothing and furniture
  • Receiving walk-in donations
Clerical Work:
  • Data Entry 
  • Filing
  • Mailing
  • Assemble Packets
Website / Social Media
  • Help design website to attract more volunteers, clients, and donors
  • Assist with social media posts/marketing
Fundraising:
  • Identifying and contacting perspective sources
  • Host your own fundraiser!
Special Events:
  • Holidays
  • Fundraisers


Helping Your Neighbors in Need!
At EHP, we serve more than 10,000 individuals in need every year with food, clothing, and household essentials.  There are several ways an individual /group can help:
  • Collect, donate, pack hygiene kits Collect baby items and essentials, assemble layette gift sets
  • Collect backpacks and school supplies for children
  • Organize food drive by collecting   nonperishable food essentials

Maximizing Your Potential Workshop Series
We are hosting workshops for our families to help them become more self-sufficient!  If you have expertise that they would like to share, please contact us.
