Giving Back to the Community
Every $1 donated is leveraged to provide $10 of food resources.
EHP's programs depend upon the generosity of individuals, congregations, businesses, schools and service groups. We receive no government funding. Here are some ways in which you can support those who are less fortunate.
We are able to do this through volume discounts, food banks and discount suppliers. For every $1 donated 9% goes toward administrative costs and 91% toward programs. EHP is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and 100% of your donation is tax deductible. Our federal tax ID number is 94-2476942.

In-kind Contributions
EHP is happy to accept fresh food, clothing, working appliances (10 years or newer), furniture, household items and automobiles. We ask that these items are all undamaged and in good usable condition as they are given directly to disadvantaged families for use in their home. We provide our programs with the idea that we treat our clients as we would treat ourselves.
Drop your donations by, or contact us to arrange for a large pick-up. You can request a donation pick-up here.
Vehicle Donations
Donate your vehicle to EHP and not only receive a tax deduction but also help families in need. All donated vehicles, worth $500 or more, will be auctioned off for the benefit of EHP programs and clients. 85 cents of each $1 of the auction amount will directly benefit programs.

n addition to being a convenient way to distribute your estate, a Will is one of the most important documents you will execute during your life. A Will can be a personal expression through which you provide for those people and institutions that are important to you. A Will is your final message that reflects your personal values and leaves a lasting legacy by which your family and community will remember you.
Legal documents such as Wills should always be prepared by attorneys. You will find different rules in every state for execution of a Will.
There is great joy in knowing that you have helped ensure the financial future of charitable causes you feel are important.
